Blissed Out

I had been told many years ago by a master blacksmith, that Chasing and Repoussé was the direction I needed to go in.  I didn’t believe him. I thought that technique was only for super talented people.  However, I remained interested and would take an occasional class, still not quite getting it.  Then in the spring of 2014 I was about to toss a piece of copper into my scrap bin that was too small to even make a cuff out of.  But I decided to try my hand at this technique.  By then I had collected some of the required tools needed.  This little face that looks like a woman gently blissed out in meditation is what turned out.  I was stunned.  This was a game changer for me. I had to try another effort with copper using Chasing and Repoussé.
