Deep Calls to Deep

The idea for this sculpture was initially my husband’s.  He saw in a dream an image of a man being pierced by a bolt of lightening.  The bolt is symbolic of the deepest part of God wanting to be with the deepest part of all humanity.  The figure staggers, because if a person was even remotely cognizant of this truth…staggering would happen.  Psalm 42:7 is the inspiration.
