Flamenco
My family lived in Spain when I was a little girl. My parents used to attend parties given by the owners of Sherry bodegas, which were held in the cellars. My parents said the daughters of the owners would get up on the tables after the eating had finished to do Flamenco. I never got to go, but I did get a pale mint green Flamenco dress with white polka dots. I have always loved Flamenco, if I had a clone, she would be a professional Flamenco dancer. I love the passion and intensity of it, the discipline, the controlled footwork. It is also a spiritual metaphor for me. To be that passionately in love with the Divine is a very compelling image for me. If Iām that much in love, I think I could endure anything.
