Our Lady of Guadalupe

Two brothers commissioned me to do this piece to honor their mother, who had a particular devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe.  She is 7 feet tall and made mostly of welded pieces of steel that had been heated and hammered into shape.  The face and hands were initially made as clay models and then cast in bronze at a foundry.  The pattern of her dress is welded on with bronze wire. I am very proud of how Our Lady turned out.
